Paisa internship provides you with assistance in getting a Visa for your internship in Colombia.
We have created a post about the recent changes (since December 2017) in the Colombian visa requirement process for interns. You can read the full article here.
If you are going to Colombia to start an internship of up to 180 days (6 months) you can travel without a visa if you are a citizen of one of the 90 countries defined by Colombian Government (including countries within the Shengen treaty). You do need to arrive with a cover letter from the hiring company in Colombia.
For citizens from other countries, or if your internship is longer than 180 days, need to apply for an M-9 student visa, which is the new equivalent of the TP3 Visa which enables you to do your internship in Colombia. If you are currently not studying and if you wish to stay or do an internship in Medellin we will be able to provide you with a Visa by enrolling you for a Spanish language course in Medellin. On the website off the Colombian embassy you can find more info about the different types of Visas.
