Marketing Intern for a company that grows and sells coffee

Location: Medellín, Colombia

Intensity: 40 hours/week for 6 months

We are looking for an intern for a company that grows and sells a wide array of coffees to clients all over the world. The company leverages their passion and experience growing coffee with their international business expertise to provide a portfolio of high quality Colombian coffees to clients worldwide.

Tasks include

Learn the ins and outs of the coffee trade. This includes everything from the differences between how it is grown, cultivated, and milled, to how coffee is marketed and sold Internationally.
Create other new content including blog posts, infographics, and graphs for the company website.
Work with the sales team to design effective sales pitches.
Work with other members of the team on new branding ideas, and then implementing those ideas in promotional material going forward.
Generate and share content through their social media platforms, including status updates on projects, educational materials and independent market reports.

Offered

1,000,000 COP/month and housing with the other interns near the office.

Skills required

The intern must be fluent in English and one other language that is not Spanish.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/technical coursework.
Outstanding writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
“Self-starter,” willing to take on assignments and generate content without constant help from management.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Able to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Some familiarity with Web Development tools, such as WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with Web Analytics tools.
Passion for marketing.
